I've noticed that every time I get home from yoga class or something, I'm kind of snippy with my husband. I blame it on being hungry... but really, what is up with that?! Glad I'm not the only one!Tesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07797493386545660391noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6868105120934453133.post-35552224887886310742014-03-02T21:32:41.705-05:002014-03-02T21:32:41.705-05:00I feel the same way, though it's usually when ...I feel the same way, though it's usually when Andrew has time to himself for once. Since I don't have a lot of close friends and very infrequently have girls' nights, I resent Andrew whenever he spends hours away at his parents' home — usually doing work for them, not even anything fun. It's ridiculous, and I hate that I act like a jerk when I leaves, and I'm trying to do better!Lindsayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09130109003343527862noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6868105120934453133.post-32583163429937696942014-03-02T21:16:15.089-05:002014-03-02T21:16:15.089-05:00Katrina, I feel like I could have written this mys...Katrina, I feel like I could have written this myself.

It's rare that I get 'me time', my husband isn't as keen to my feelings of overwhelming doom. I need to be more communicative with him. When I do get a break, I end up coming home and I start feeling the same way in less than an hour... Then I feel ungrateful for my family (read: God's immense faithfulness) and for the 'me time' I just had. Funny thing is, I go shopping too. If I'm in a mall, I always end up buying nothing because I don't want to pay retail prices for anything--since I've discovered a deep love for Value Village. If I'm not in a mall I'm at Value Village scouring the racks for gems, or running errands at other stores that aren't open when I do my grocery shopping. I'm usually always doing something for the family.

I love that you expressed the thought that it might just be what you do with your free time that makes you crazy. I never thought about that before. Maybe next time I'll get a pedicure, or a fantastically gourmet hot chocolate and some quiet time in a coffee shop.

Thank you for sharing this Katrina. It makes me feel so good to know I'm not the only one who explodes over everyone. Also this blog, it might have some gems for you, www.thebettermom.comCynthiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03533209912020709308noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6868105120934453133.post-43564596105578644652014-03-02T20:45:48.835-05:002014-03-02T20:45:48.835-05:00My parents used to say the exact same thing about ...My parents used to say the exact same thing about sleepovers, and I was always tired and crabby the next day no matter what I said:) I'm always a bakery case after I come back home aftera break and I think that is because I'm usually pretty desensitized to the general craziness that is having two toddlers, but being out and about reminds me how crazy it really is! Readjusting is always really hard. Lol. I feel the same way after my rare me time. Shopping is really the worst, isn't it? I miss school uniforms. Never thought I'd say that, but it's true. That happens."

Ha! You describe me there. So, don't you feel bad for Brad now? ...Maybe it's counteractive because when I have too much "me time" I get too selfish.
