Twenty-nine and Twelve Later

Happy Anniversary (a day late) to my in-laws! Last Sunday we were able to go to Mass at the church where Chris' parents were married at the tender ages of nineteen and twenty-one. I bet they had no clue that in twenty-nine years they would be returning to the site of their nuptials with twelve in tow.

  2. And look at how wonderful your mother-in-law looks! She's so youthful and slim--after TWELVE kids! I'd love to talk to her, too. I'll bet she's an amazing woman.

  4. I think it would be so awesome if you did a post someday interviewing her, or them as a couple. Kind of a FAQ with an amazing couple! My grandparents had 4 children, who in turn gave them 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. I asked them once, if they could have imagined when they got married at 19 and 20 that their family would turn out so large, and she said, "No, we never could have guessed how much God would bless us." I'd love to hear how they handle logistics, patience, ridiculous questions from strangers, etc.
