SustainU Clothing Giveaway

Whenever we move, I want to pull my hair out when I see exactly how much has to get from the old home to the new home. Fortunately for my hair, we end up pulling out all of the ill-fitting clothes and clothes that always get a, "Some other time," promise. The last time we moved, I put most of our college t-shirts in a box to save for Ryan, Conor (well, at the time, we didn't know we had a Conor), and the other future children we hope to welcome into our life. Being me, I'm probably going to cry when I see Ryan recycling Chris' old college dorm shirt as a vintage find. Who am I kidding? Ryan won't care that it is "vintage," but nevertheless, I'll cry or at least have a few tears with a wistful smile of yore.

Anyway, that little closet moving left some space for new items that we won't pass over when we decide what to wear. SustainU, a clothing company that creates high performance apparel using fabrics made of 100% recycled materials all in the USA, was kind enough to send us a couple of tees.

The tees fit so well.  Chris is particular about his t-shirts, but he wears this SustainU shirt all the time. That is a big clothing compliment if you know my husband! Ryan has been liking Goldilocks and the Three Bears lately, and I feel like my tee is like all of Little Bear's things - juuuust right. The shirt is fitted, yet loose if that makes any sense. After a day of nursing, it still had its shape at the end of the day, which is a big deal for me. 

SustainU makes their tees with 50% recycled cotton and 50% recycled polyester so you won't have to worry about them shrinking. Like I said, since we wear them frequently, I have washed them numerous times, and they hold up in the wash well. 

In case you couldn't tell from reading my blog located in the shadow of Notre Dame, we are ND fans so SustainU knew exactly what to send us. They sell excellent non-collegiate apparel, too! Out of their Lifestyle Basics, I love the Eleanor Fleece Crew Pullover and the Laurel Long Sleeve V-Neck Tee.  Their Illumination graphic tee is also on my list. As you can see, their selection is making me have a hard time choosing.
