Relief and Glee, Again

Saturday was gloomy and cold and rainy and windy and miserable ... except for the contagious optimism that covers all of campus on gameday Saturdays. After tailgating for a bit, I was happy to be watching the game cuddled under a blanket at our house.

I think the boys were, too, because this is what they looked like at the tailgates:

Their smiles scream, "GO TEAM."

But! After the game-winning touchdown on 4th and 11, and the game-ending sack, I terribly wished we could have been in that terribly cold stadium. Fanaticism.

I snapped a photo of two of my boys while we watched the players sway back and forth singing the alma mater post victory.

When I looked at the photo again yesterday, I realized that it looked very familiar:

Here is the post that photo came from way back in 2012.

Dads and their football watching babies. I love 'em.

  1. The official "watch from home" zipper hoodie? And Chris doesn't look a day older!

    1. Ha, it actually IS a different hoodie. Filters are confusing like that. Different color. Chris branches out in his style choices.
