H-O-M-E

Yesterday we received a very early Christmas present. My brother, Peter, returned home early from what was supposed to be full year long deployment in Afghanistan and finally landed on American soil. Joy doesn't even begin to describe it!

Ryan better start practicing his walk down the aisle because Peter and his lovely fiancée Laura are getting married in May, and now it seems even closer.

Please continue to pray for all of those involved in war torn areas!

  2. Awesome! My husband is in the Army Reserves and has been deployed 3 times since 9/11. Last time to Afghanistan for 15 months in 2010. The joy of having them home is beyond words!!

  4. How wonderful! I'm so happy for him, his fiancée, and your whole family. I think I have a pretty good idea of the joy you're feeling. Our oldest son did a year in Iraq and a year in Afghanistan, and our #4 son will be home from a 6-month deployment in Afghanistan in a mere three weeks!! We can hardly wait!!

God bless your brother and all those like him who sacrifice so much for all of us!
