What I Wore For My Sunday Best

Linking up with Fine Linen and Purple for What I Wore Sunday and Camp Patton for Sunday Best, as usual.

Happy Sunday! Happy Father's Day!

We went to the Vigil Mass last night, and I'm really starting to enjoy being able to pay attention at Mass for a minute at a time rather than ten seconds at a time while being in a pew. And it was the front pew of the side section! Nice to meet you, front pew, I don't think we have met before. Barring a highly possible regression in the toddler mass regression department, I'm just going to soak it all in before the end of October.  Ryan only had to be taken out twice. The first time came after he was a little too curious with a kneeler and gravity won. The next incident was appropriately the number two church exit, if you catch my drift.

I once again looked like a mother with it all together because I forgot Ryan's socks at home. He pushed his shoes off before even Mass started and when faced with a potential tantrum vs. a shoeless son, I was a cowered in front of the rage of the tantrum and assured myself that no shoes is passable under two. Let's hope.

Blouse: Possibly Kohl's a long time ago. Skirt: Ebay. Shoes: Kohl's a long time ago. Sandal tan lines: from last weekend. Baby bump: 21 weeks.

My shoeless boy, forehead bruise, shoe tan lines and all. Go, Mama. He didn't bring the stand mixer wisk attachment to church. Points for that?

Off to eat some pancakes and waffles in celebration of this guy I kind of have a crush on.

  1. Katrina, seriously, you are beautiful!! Regardless of what you wear :) Love your skirt. And, Ryan is looking so much like a little boy (rather than a baby). He's a doll.

  3. Okay, I know I say this every week, but you are seriously so cute! You almost make me wish I were pregnant again! (not yet... ;)) And yes, barefoot is acceptable under two, esp. in the summer. I love his outfit too! Everyone always loves dressing up girls (don't get me wrong, it's so fun!) but I hope that someday we get a boy to dress up too! I can't wait to buy little boyish button-downs!

  7. Ok, you still make me want to be pregnant again AND buy a lot of maxi skirts... I feel like you should be an NFP poster child - "I make pregnancy look GOOD!"
